These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website sosxtremecomfort.com and the heating, ventilation and air conditioning services provided by M. Spiegel & Sons Oil, LLC d/b/a SOS Xtreme Comfort (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website, requesting service or opting in to our text messages, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our services

We provide residential HVAC services, including heating and air conditioning repair, installation and replacement, heat pump services, preventive maintenance, ductwork and indoor air quality solutions. The specific scope of any job will be described in the estimate or work order you approve.

2. Estimates and pricing

• Estimates are based on the conditions observed at the time of inspection and the information you provide.
• No work will begin until you approve the estimate or work order.
• If additional problems are discovered during the work, we will explain them and obtain your approval before performing additional work.
• Estimates are valid for the period stated on the estimate.

3. Scheduling, cancellations and access

• Appointment times are arrival windows. We will notify you of any delays where possible.
• Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.
• You agree to provide safe, clear access to the equipment and work areas, and to secure pets during the visit.

4. Payment

Payment is due as stated on your estimate, invoice or agreement. We may require a deposit for equipment installations or replacements. Unpaid balances may be subject to fees permitted by law.

5. Warranties

New equipment is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, subject to the manufacturer’s terms and registration requirements. Any workmanship warranty we provide will be described in writing on your invoice or agreement. Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, lack of maintenance, unauthorized repairs, power surges or acts of nature.

6. SMS / text messaging terms

Program description. By checking the SMS consent box on our website form and providing your mobile number, you agree to receive text messages from SOS Xtreme Comfort about your service requests, including appointment confirmations and reminders, service updates, estimate follow-ups and responses to your inquiries. If you separately opt in to marketing messages, you may also receive seasonal maintenance reminders and promotional offers.

• Costs: Message and data rates may apply.
• Opt out: Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.

• Consent not required: Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
• Carriers: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
